BIO

Alice is an Australian-based artist living in Albury, NSW. Alice formerly trained as a Graphic Designer, and later became a teacher of Visual Arts at primary and secondary stages.


In 2021 Alice had her first solo exhibition Through the Garden Gate, in the spiral staircase of a historic art deco building in Albury. Soon after, she was selected as a finalist in the National Emerging Art Prize in Sydney. Later, in 2022, Alice held her second solo exhibition titled Citrus at Art Partners Gallery. Last year, Alice had her third solo Spring Paintings at La Cornue in Surry Hills, Sydney.

In June 2023, Alice's work was again selected under the 'National Emerging Art Prize' banner by Amber Creswell Bell, and the team at Michael Reid Gallery, for the Affordable Art Fair in Sydney. In August, her work was represented by the Van Gogh Gallery in Madrid Spain, as well as at the International Art Fair in Monaco.


So far in 2024, Alice had a 'Pop Up' gallery space in the AMP Lane in Albury's T&G Building. She also featured in group exhibitions including, Summertime at Art Partners Gallery and Still Life Love at Old Stone Hall, Beechworth.


Some of Alice's work is currently being exhibited in a group show, Winter Collection, at Beechworth Contemporary Art Space, in North East Victoria.
